I have been retired for some time and decided that I would start a new project as if I had more time on my hands, if not caring for my 16 year old grandson is more than enough, but because my love of estate sales and auctions. I decided cost than buying them new or waiting for days for an auction to end. I went that route and was tired of staying up all night and then losing the bid anyway.
My basement is completely filled with boxes and boxes of items that I "just had t have", didn't need it nor is there enough
room in my home to display or use them. Estate sales and auctions are my addiction !
When I named this site "Don't Go In The Basement" I truly meant that, it would scare you to death. It does me because I
know that everything will eventually be added to this site.
I have sold on eBay, eCrater, iOffer and decided it was time to strike out on my own. I am a person that doesn't want to
sit up all night waiting for an auction to end so that I can get what I want and I have done that. On this site you see, you
like, you buy it, what a concept.
We certainly are not experts but describe the item to the best of our ability and do research the item thru Worth Point,
Kovel's and other sites. We see what things are selling for and use a lower price.
We like to use calculated shipping to save you money and if you are ever overcharged we will refund what it was actually shipped at. I know that shipping is a big deal to me and that is why I always ask for an email address.
We use the strictest of privacy and you will never be spammed or get unwanted email from me. We have a form on this
site for you if you are looking for something special.
You can use PayPal, Cashier's Check or Money Order to pay for an item. We also love to combine shipping providing we can get it in the same box. We do have a $2.00 handling charge which covers bubble wrap, packing material, gas (lazy mailman) and all the material it takes to safely shipped.
